About Inconel 718
Inconel 718 is a nickel-based alloy renowned for its exceptional resistance to heat, corrosion and mechanical stress in extreme environments. This alloy is primarily used in aerospace, energy, petrochemical, and turbine manufacturing sectors. It combines excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance with enhanced mechanical strength, thanks to the addition of niobium and molybdenum.
Due to its outstanding performance, Inconel 718 is particularly valued in applications where resistance to corrosive environments and temperatures exceeding 650°C (1200°F) is essential.
